About Me
Born in 1956, I am a lively,
living testament to the benefits of lifelong learning in the intersecting fields
of bodywork and nutrition for health.
After first graduating in
German Literature and Slavic Languages from the Free University Berlin, I
completed certified training in physiotherapy. I then gained further expertise,
in particular in treatment of back and shoulders, working as a physiotherapist
at the Charité-Virchow clinics in Berlin (1995–2001).
Already in the 1980s I began
exploring the influence of nutrition and
“alternative” bodywork on human health.
In January 2003 I opened my
own natural health practice in Berlin-Kreuzberg
In 2006 I completed my
training as a certified Shiatsu therapist under the auspices of the European
Shiatsu Institute (ESI) Berlin
